GSL
|
- BOMIN GSL-SYSTEMS consist of frameless, movable glass louvres, which can
be completely opened and fitted
• on the facade, or
• on the roof
They determine the character of a building's exterior to a large extent, in accordance
with its light reflection, solar screening and ventilation requirements.
If necessary, large ventilation profiles with a very high degree of transparency can be
implemented with only minimal material expenditure.
The degree of ventilation is continuously adjustable.
The BOMIN GSL System can be realised as a climatic façade with a double-glazed first
layer and a single-glazed second layer.

- The BOMIN GSL System
The system consists of:
Glass louvres,
Support structure with glass holders,
Drives and
Control unit.
The louvre surfaces can be implemented as a homogenous glass layer either vertically over
several floors, or horizontally driven via several support tubes
They are can be rotated continuously
from 0° to 90°.
It is also possible to install interconnected louvre surfaces, as well as small individual
divisions in the façade or roof surface.
|
THE COMPONENTS:
SUPPORT STRUCTURE
The axle tubes are mounted at an axle base of 0.60 to 1.60 m.
Glass holders and axle tubes are manufactured in INOX A2 (WS1.4301) brushed surface.
The view width of the axle tubes is 40 mm.
GLAZING
Either single or insulating glass plates made from tempered safety glass or laminated
safety glass made from partially prestressed glass are used, depending on the type of
application.
Glass plates can be manufactured up to 4.2 m wide, and are vertically fitted.
It is possible to use special glass types with solar screening and heat protection
functions..
|

DRIVES
The louvres are continuously adjustable from 0° o 90° via one synchronous drive per
support structure.
They are driven by a con- tinuous shaft and a drive motor.
CONTROL UNIT
The louvres can be adjusted by hand, or semi- or fully automatically.
The specific requirements of the building user and climatic requirements such as wind,
rain, temperature and sunshine, are all taken into account by a fully auto- matic control
unit.
Control functions can be carried out via the building management systems and/or via a bus
control unit.
